Landscapes in Mixed Media by Tim Hulley

Tim Hulley grew up in Sheffield and now lives on the edge of the Peak District a was a prolific climber from his early teens to early 2000. This then led him on to studying Performance Sportswear Design at Derby university then designing for well known local outdoor clothing manufacturers. Tim paints local landscapes inspired by his own personal experiences on the rocky edges of the peak. Tim's paintings have a physical feel having been constructed out of tissue paper, sand, PVA and finally painted with acrylics which are then varnished creating a representation/abstract painting of local landscapes. He sells at art fairs and local galleries and is influenced by Turner, Andy Parkin, Constable and Van Gogh.
